After running the most successful spa in The Pas, Manitoba, for over 10 years owner Darlene Dushanek of Heaven on Earth Day Spa has lots of experience on what’s needed to keep her spa in the prestigious No 1 slot. “ It takes a great team, that give great services with unrivaled market leading treatments and products’ she explains… “ I continually research and expand our menu to ensure that we have the best of the best for our clients.”
After starting originally as a Stylist and Esthetician Darlene wanted to create a unique space that encapsulated all the services. “We wanted to create a spa where men and women could do everything under one roof, from pedicures, gel nails, waxing, lash extensions, facials, hair styling to body transformation with our Ideal Protein Clinic, so Heaven on Earth Day Spa was created and opened its doors in Dec 2002.” She remembers.
Eurowave
So when Darlene came across the Eurowave in Saskatoon three years ago she knew instantly she wanted it for her spa, “unfortunately the timing just wasn’t right but it always stayed in the back of her mind, just waiting” she recalls and when Body Beautiful launched the Eurowave Pro and it crossed her path again and again Darlene knew that with Christmas fast approaching, and clients asking her how on earth they were going to look better, it was time to start talking EUROWAVE again…..
Training
Three weeks later Darlene and three of her team of therapists were in a car headed en route to the Eurowave Training school in Red Deer, Alberta “Oh its only 12 hours away” she joked with Body Beautiful company Director Helen Hodgson “we know we have to drive to learn anything worth knowing.”

Somewhere in the many discussions on the EUROWAVE the Universal Contour Wrap with its guaranteed inch loss through detoxification was also explored…. And Darlene knew instantly with the winning combination of both treatments being added to her already successful Ideal Protein, her clients were going to look fabulous and fantastic for the festivities this year.
So they trekked to Red Deer, luckily beating the first snowfall, they wrapped and they zapped through many hours of extensive training and returned to The Pas a week later…. Exhausted but exhilarated and raring to go….(as you can see from the photos there was a little fun time too)
